“Love Eterne” has won fame in Taiwan.
“Love Eterne” has broken theatrical box-
office records, and has maintained its top
position for 20 years.
On Oct 30, Ivy visited Taipei as a
member of the Hong Kong delegation to
the 2nd Golden Horse Award Film
Festival. Ivy was given an unprecedented,
tumultuous welcome during her one
hour trip, as thousands of her fans packed
the airport, streets and hotels just to
catch a glimpse of her sight.
Ivy has displayed her versatility, both as a
male impersonator and in female roles,
and that has caused a controversial issue,
regarding whether to award her a “Best
Actor", or “Best Actress” trophy.
Eventually, she won her “Special Acting
Award”, which was the first in the
Chinese Movie Show Business.
